Because of the risks and dangers associated with shipping hazardous materials, the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (DOT PHMSA) and its supporting agencies regulate the transport of these materials within the U.S. and ensure we comply with the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). Take this course to learn about the contents and purpose of the hazardous materials table (HMT).
