Transgender Awareness - Creating an Inclusive Workplace

This introductory course will help you gain a better understanding of what it means to be a transgender person and give you basic guidelines for creating an inclusive environment that supports your transgender colleagues. We’ll cover important terminology and legal protections, and answer common questions related to gender identity and gender expression. We’ll identify respectful approaches to addressing transgender issues, and discuss how to prevent discriminatory behavior. The knowledge gained will allow you to better accommodate and support the unique talents, insights and strengths of transgender people within your organization and in everyday life.
