Overhead and Gantry Crane Safety Awareness
Anyone who works with cranes knows not to underestimate the daily risk of collapse, electrical accidents, falls and other serious incidents. The power that makes overhead, gantry and similar cranes so useful also makes them dangerous. Knowing crane safety precautions and being able to identify crane operating risks is of utmost importance in areas where the equipment is operated. Additional training on rigging and signaling practices and site- and equipment-specific training are often needed in addition to this course. Ideal learners are crane operators, supervisors and others who work in areas where overhead cranes are operated.
