Line Pipe Fundamentals
This lesson presents an introduction to the fundamental characteristics of steel line pipe. After completing this lesson, learners will be able to recognize the physical properties of line pipe steel based on chemical composition, and differentiate between stress and strain, and recognize how they influence yield point. Learners will also be able to identify factors that help determine the pressure rating of line pipe and recognize different types of testing conducted on line pipe.
