HAZWOPER: Engineering Controls
When elimination and substitution are not possible, our next defense against hazards is engineering controls. Take this course to learn about the purpose of engineering controls and how we use them in hazardous waste operations and emergency response, or HAZWOPER. By applying engineering controls in your workplace, you can protect yourself and your co-workers from chemical, heat and noise hazards.
