This program provides information to workers about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job-related hazards. Although many essential safety topics are covered in this program, workers perform a wide variety of duties and thus may require additional training as designated by OSHA standards. Additional information specific to sites, equipment and tasks as well as hands-on demonstrations of skills are needed for your safety. Even though this training is voluntary at the U.S. federal level, many jurisdictions, employers and unions have chosen to require this Outreach Training to fulfill their safety training goals. Each student who successfully completes the program will receive a completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
