Hazard Awareness for EPG Technicians (PC Only)

From your own experience, you may be fully aware of the many risks that EPG (electrical power generation) technicians face. Staying safe starts with recognizing and understanding these risks. Obviously, electricity presents one of the dangers you face when working with equipment that is generating or connected to high voltages. You may also face noise, heat and chemical hazards and run the risk of straining your back, neck and shoulders when lifting heavy equipment. So how can you reduce the risks associated with your job? That’s what we’re going to review in this course – different measures you can take prior to, during and after a service call to prevent injuries or incidents.
