Drugs in the Workplace: Testing and Guidelines
This lesson explains the DOT requirements for drug testing outlined in 49 CFR Part 199 and 49 CFR Part 40. After completing this lesson, the learner will be able to identify: the types of jobs for which drug tests are administered, the individuals involved in the drug testing procedure, steps in the testing process including how specimens are handled, and what happens when a test result is positive.
