DOT Part 192: Code Regulations
The history of pipeline regulations, the Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Act, and the events leading to the formation of the FPC, OPS, and DOT are covered in this module. This module also describes the ""rulemaking function"" of the DOT, including enforcement, inspections, compliance, notices, and warnings. Following an explanation of the major sections of Part 192, a 30-question DOT inspection simulation covering compliance, operations, inspections, maintenance, and documentation is presented.
